January Comes Again 2019

It’s a new year, starting (more or less) like every year before it. My family is healthy and happy; our home is comfortable and a refuge; we are gainfully employed to see us through financial needs.

I thank God for it all.

Have you chosen a new habit to either break or embrace yet? I stopped calling this process “resolutions” because that never got me anywhere. BUT, habits can be learned and manipulated all you want!

This year is the year I learn to use a planner. So far, so good. I’ve chosen the Happy Planner system because it enables me to add and remove pages as I need them. I don’t really need much of a calendar set up beyond the two-page spread most planners offer, but I do need pages for the month where I can organize my day job work and give me the ability to add family and writing life, as well.

My Happy Planner

If you’d like to know more about this process, please sign up for my newsletter (if you haven’t already!). I’ve included links to planner and bullet journal examples you might want to investigate.

If you haven’t subscribed to my newsletter, than you might not know I have a new series on the horizon taking place in a sweet little town called Paterra Crossing, located just down the valley from Hawk Ridge – my Circle D series. It’s a mining town established back in the 1860’s where the founding families remain active in the decisions regarding the town’s future – a future filled with interesting townspeople and the new folks that find contentment in Paterra Crossing.

Think: Northern Exposure meets Hart of Dixie

Until next time, make Reading a Priority!
